It really isn’t all that bad, is it? At least, such is our thinking. Everything works, somehow. Though undoubtedly the world has its problems, we won’t see them, or better, we won’t want to see them. Some of the worst calamities on this planet, such as predatory capitalism, overfishing, coerced economic growth, corruption, tropical deforestation, pandemics, public monitoring, blend together in a somehow bearable mixture. Ultimately, everything will be just fine.
But just how far can we push it?
Truth be told, we don’t know the answer to this question. But we do know that we must try to change something.
